Nigel Turner was born in the United Kingdom in 1962. His career as a Landscape Photographer began during the late 1980's when he traveled the United States with a Large Format Camera for a year, primarily capturing on film the majestic landscape of the American Southwest.

It was at this time that he held his first exhibition of fine prints at the Patrick Collins Gallery in Aspen, Colorado. This followed with a permanent exhibition in the Creekside Gallery, Sedona and Gallery Sur in Carmel, California where his work was shown for more than 10 years. He has held numerous exhibitions around the UK with the most notable venue being the Royal National Theatre in London and the Photographers Gallery Print Room.

His work has been published in many of the UK's leading photographic magazines, including the British Journal of Photography, the Journal of the Royal Photographic Society and Photographer amongst many others.

 
 

Nigel began his very successful series of Photographic Holiday Workshops back in 1994. These two week trips conducted around the American West have become very popular and Nigel has been proud to have been host to more than 600 photographers.

Nigel lives in Las Vegas with wife Mary and their two sons.
