What could possibly be better than spending a full two weeks in the company of like minded people, exploring and capturing on film the magnificent landscapes of the American West? Well perhaps returning home with wonderful images from your experience.

Over the past 12 years, Nigel Turner has been conducting a series of Holiday Workshops to some of the most outstanding areas for landscape photographers to be found anywhere in the world. These trips offer photographers from all walks of life and abilities the opportunity to spend quality time shooting great landscape images. During your time you will learn the technique that are required to produce the best possible images, such as composition, subject, understanding light and colour, exposure and other methods that will improve your photography. All of this will be taught in an informal setting in both the field and hotel using prints and slide shows.

I firmly believe that I offer both the best prices and itineraries. Each trip is for a full two week period and includes flights from the UK, airport to hotel transfers, ground transportation in a 15 passenger van, hotel or motel accommodations throughout, a picnic style lunch each day, breakfasts on many days and all group and individual tuition.

More than 600 people have attended one of my trips, and many of them return on numerous occasions which can only speak volumes for the service I offer my clients. But don't take my word for it, check out the Clients section and read some comments from my visitor's book to see why we have become the UK's leading tour operator providing quality trips to the American West for photographers.

All bookings are handled by Windsor and Neate Travel, a full service travel agent located in Newbury, Berkshire. Windsor and Neate Travel and I have worked together since I first began running my Holiday Workshops and hold both IATA and ABTA licence's. Check their web site for further information, which can be found in the Contacts section.

Below you will find itineraries, dates and prices for all of my upcoming trips and I hope to see you in the not to distant future.

Gone are the maddening crowds of summer and in its place is peace and tranquility allowing excellent photographic opportunities. We spend our first five nights based in Jackson, Wyoming from where we explore the Teton Range. The next seven nights will be in spent in Yellowstone with all its Geysers, Waterfalls and Wildlife.   Nothing compares to a two week trip around the Canyons of the Southwest during the winter months. Gone are the maddening crowds of the summer, and in its place is the tranquility and silence that these canyons deserve. Its like they are sleeping before the next onslaught of tourists overwhelm them. This trip visits Grand Canyon, Monument Valley, Arches, Capitol Reef, Bryce and Zion Canyons. During this time of year we more or less have each location to ourselves. Add a sprinkling of snow and you'll understand why this trip is so popular. Begins and ends in Las Vegas.

A similar itinerary to that of my ' Winter in the Canyons ' trip, in place of Arches National Park, I include Antelope Canyon. During this time of year, the Cottonwoods which are a native tree found in many of the deep canyons that we visit are just beginning to get their leaves back. This lush, spring fresh green provides a wonderful backdrop to the huge red and golden cliffs. The freshness that the Canyons display during early spring is truly amazing. Its impossible not to get stunning images from this trip. This trip also starts and ends in Las Vegas.
